Blessed Buttermilk Soap
Buttermilk soap is another of those old time recipes that if our grandmothers didn't make themselves then they sure used what their mothers made! Milk of some form has been used as early as Cleopatra's time for its gentle properties for the skin. Since milk contains lactic acid then it helps in the gentle exfoliation of the dead skin that accumulates on our bodies.
In our Blessed Buttermilk soap we've added Olive Oil that has been infused with Chickweed which is thought to be very beneficial for the skin. If you have skin irritations you might give our Blessed Buttermilk soap a try to see if it helps you to have more healthy skin!
This soap is mildly scented and is very pleasing to the nose.
Ingredients: Canola oil, Castor oil, Cocoa Butter, Coconut Oil, Cottonseed Oil, Lard, Olive Oil infused with Chickweed, Shea Butter, Soybean Oil; Essential Oils of Lavender, Clove, & Orange.
Be sure to keep your bars of soap in a well drained place to dry in between uses so they will last for several months. If the bar is too big then feel free to cut it in smaller pieces.
